Chido should’ve been given 10-15 minutes yesterday. I respect both viewpoints. There’s an element of wanting to protect young players but SAF once said “We always strive to support young people at Manchester United. When you do, they seldom let you down.” The club is known for giving youth a go in less than ideal circumstances. I don’t think bringing a striker on with 3 minutes left and having them defend our box is in line with that. It was a bad look in my eyes. For me, yesterday was an opportunity missed. Fortunately, this won’t be Chido’s last rodeo and hopefully the same goes for the rest of the bench.
