This plan will set out priorities and actions to support deer managers, as well as promote the fantastic product that is venison.

@TimEagleHI @NatureScot @JimFairlieLogie @ADMGScotland Another important amendment agreed from Beatrice Wishart (@scotlibdems) to ensure those who are considered to be significantly affected by a deer management control scheme proposal (prepared by @NatureScot) can object. Supported by all parties in the parliament.

Thanks to @TimEagleHI for tabling an important amendment which removes a presumption in favour of @NatureScot using its powers to intervene in deer management. Thanks also to the Minister @JimFairlieLogie for recognising concerns of the deer sector and supporting the amendment.

After over a year of tireless campaigning on this issue, we are pleased to see the @GOVUK take steps to amend proposed changes to Inheritance Tax to protect family farms. Details of the impact the new threshold will need to be analysed, but we absolutely welcome these changes.
