@CoachK00635354 @FlatgroundApp 98 is the highest I’ve seen. I’ve heard 99 and 100 but they were in stadiums without radar displays so I take those numbers with a grain of salt

@NiccoBlank @FlatgroundApp Basically get to leg lift like your pitching, begin to hop forward 2 or 3 times while your leg is suspended in the air (to create extra momentum) then let it rip. Like an exaggerated walking windup but with a few hops to help your body learn how to transfer the momentum!

@NiccoBlank @FlatgroundApp “Back peddle pulldowns” or “turn & burns” as others call them have done wonders in helping our athletes who usually have a deviation of 8-10mph from pulldown to mound velo. Same with “pitching hop” pulldowns. Feel free to DM us if you want some clarification pulldown variations.

@trog34 I’m not necessarily trying to fix anything. I just now know that I’m capable of throwing a baseball 101mph so I would like to hear strategies to transfer pull down velos to the mound

@GGrenert @FlatgroundApp Not sure yet. Haven’t had a mound session where I pushed the velo. My arm feels as good as it has in my career when I was up to 98

@McgovernSkippy @FlatgroundApp I use run ins to train staying closed while having my momentum carry toward the target. Throwing hard requires a guy as small as me to be extremely athletic and these run in throws really challenge my connection, timing, and overall athleticism

If I learned/was reminded of from 2018 it's that what you hope for and what you get are two completely different animals
