I just remembered this koromoto Imo man that always fought with his wife whenever she catches him cheating. They had 5 girls and he decided to chase her out, married another young girl, she had a miscarriage and said she's no longer interested in the marriage cos he's too bossy and overprotective. Married another girl, she gave birth to 2 girls and no male. He went on a business trip one day and till today nobody knows his whereabouts. The last wife took her kids and some of his belongings and left. The first wife had to return to takeover her kids. Now she just gave out one of her girls in marriage. Nwoke koromoto is nowhere to be found.

No, son. It is not bad to marry your age mate, but... there is a BUT. Women are hypergamous in nature, and they see their "equal" somewhat like an inferior. I am not projecting but telling you from experience. Women whose men are a year or 2 years older than are a challenge to them because, "see this small boy. Is it because of the ordinary 2 years?" Women are instinctually audacious and can shit test a man out of his frame. Men who are 5+ years older know what they are seeing at the hands of the younger women they're married to. Imagine marrying a woman who is either older than you or an age mate with you. Just be certain that you have what it takes because a 23-year-old man isn't "age mates" with a 23-year-old woman. What a 23-year-old woman has been exposed to and the choices she has made, a 23-year-old man hasn't thought about it even. Therefore, you must employ discernment when you want to make certain decisions. Surely, you'll always believe that you'll be the exception but it's best to prevent now, than look for a cure later. If you are still in doubt of what I have outlined, go and ask your dad to verify what I just told you. Learn or learn the hard way
