@projomike @sethcahn The song is really popular in German speaking countries. I told that story to s/o I met who was in a country western band called “Best Western”. She said that when she was booked to play a hotel in Switzerland their contract said they had to play it 3 times a night.

@projomike A while back @sethcahn and I were street busking in Germany. We were quickly surrounded by a motley group of German youth. Seth and I looked at each other with apprehension. When we finished our song, one of them stepped forward and said “Play Country Roads”.

So many West Virginians in Bavaria.
