Another year and another @MedSteps5 done and dusted. A huge shout-out to Mark Cooper and the rest of the team from HM Prison for organizing this incredible event year after year, all in support of cancerreliefgib . 👏👏👏

On last week's outing to the Straits of Gibraltar, we were treated to a rare sighting. A flock of approximately 20 Black Terns made an appearance, and they put on an incredible show as they delicately dipped the surface of the sea to catch small baitfish.

Sperm whales are the largest toothed whales on the planet. They are exceptional deep divers, capable of holding their breath and diving hundreds of meters to feed on deep-sea squid and fish.

The Strait of Gibraltar never fails to impress. Today, we were fortunate enough to observe four sperm whales among a variety of other species.

Grey seals spend most of the year at sea and may range widely in search of prey. There are only three populations of grey seals worldwide: one in the western Atlantic (northern North America), one in the Baltic, and one in the eastern Atlantic.
