@medicine_made Wake up times vary, but I’ve been shooting for 7-8 hrs. I’ll admit that I functioned on much less during some of residency but that wasn’t good for me and also wasn’t 100% due to the workload.

@TheNFTCPA @olsonplanner I don’t understand this comment. You have to report earnings from high yield savings to the IRS as well….. Also, I’ve used turbo tax. It specifically asks you if you are contributing to an IRA. If you say no, it’s kind of on you…

@olsonplanner This can cause so many issues at tax time especially if they never tell TurboTax or the accountant. Please don’t make blanket statements if they effect taxes. Should everyone put $5 into a high yield savings account, sure. Should everyone put $5 in IRA or ROTH IRA no.

Every resident should auto-invest at least $5/month into a Roth IRA.
