If you’re down by 2 points with time running out, who would you “trust” more to hit the game winning 3?🧐

Lebron clearly peaked higher when it mattered most Yet he could only contribute so much & his teams still couldn’t prevail as underdogs Jordan’s teams were favored in ALL 6 Finals. Long before his teams became a juggernaut, MJ lost just like Lebron despite being the best player

@UrbanBDKNY @oldskoolbballx Bro Kobe is easily top 2-3 while he was winning titles beating your favorite players or team we need to stop acting as if it wasn’t Kobe and then everyone else in the mid to late 2000’s

@oldskoolbballx Miller was my favorite player growing up. Now it’s LeBron. In between it was Iverson. We need to stop treating the GOAT debate as a SKILL thing it’s not. Kobe’s resume helps him just crack the top 10. He doesn’t belong in GOAT talk. All time he’s like 8-10. Skill wise maybe # 1

Reggie Miller placed Michael Jordan ahead of Kobe Bryant and LeBron James when comparing the three strictly as players. “I think we get caught up when we talk about the GOAT situation and the GOAT debate. To me, the best player of the three is MJ.” Miller praised Bryant for developing his game from Jordan’s foundation: “Kobe is a clone and a better version. He’s Mike on steroids. He’s a better jump shooter. To me, the fundamentals were better because he perfected them by studying the master, MJ.” Giving his final ranking, Miller said: “If we’re going stack-for-stack as players, to me, it’s MJ, Kobe and then LeBron.” via The Dan Patrick Show

Draymond Green explains to Shaquille O’Neal why Kobe Bryant is often left out of the GOAT conversation Shaquille O’Neal: “How come my guy’s not in that conversation?” Draymond Green: “Kobe? Yes, for sure. One hundred percent.” “Here’s why I think he’s not.” “Number one, he played with you, and people hold that against him.” “Number two, Kobe kind of fell in a weird era.” “When Shaq left, the Lakers had a few rough years.” “They weren’t winning, even though Kobe’s numbers were incredible.” “At the same time, LeBron was rising in Cleveland and making his name.” “I don’t think Kobe was the consensus best player in the league for long enough.” “Then LeBron entered the conversation.” “From that point on, it became a tug of war.”

There is no argument at the top of the shooting guards, because Michael Jordan is the top of almost every list. Kobe built his whole game chasing him and lands second. Jerry West and Dwyane Wade give the position real depth behind the two names everyone already expected to see.
