Now THIS is how you do a suppression poll. There is no way on God's green earth Ed is winning by seven pts.
Can Ed win? Sure. But if he does it will be because of low turnout and lack of energy. This poll is simply not the reality.

I dont agree much with Dems. I agree a WHOLE lot more with GOP. I dont view either as enemies. They may be rivals politically, but if we stop demonizing and start conversing we will see that most people agree on whats wrong. We are all trying to figure out how to fix it. Debate!

@UnsolicitedHQ I’m not disagreeing that the older people are oversampled. (They actually polled me for both of their polls) However, I think Andrew is off here. My calculations give me the 63.5% number is for 56+ and not 65+. Still probably oversampled but closer to what it will be

63.5% of the sample is 65+ despite them only making up about 35%-40% of Republican primary voters who turn up according to historical Kentucky election data. How odd....

@UnsolicitedHQ I went to school at Walton. They definitely were not teaching procedural votes lol. But I’m not convinced they really ever taught civics. I just had to explain how a primary works to a baby boomer last week whose whole personality is Politics.

Just to clarify for those who misunderstand how voting works. Similar to voting no for a procedural vote and yes in the actual SAVE Act, this was a yes to the procedural vote and a no on the FISA bill.
