I'm pleased to be part of another show at Westland Gallery in Old South. A "New Small Works" group show opens Dec. 2 and runs to Dec. 31. Check it out if you're in the 'hood. westlandgallery.ca p.s. I thought I'd quit social media. Oh well. p.p.s. Yes, I'm still birding.

And I've got a one-person show coming up at the impossibly cute St. Marys Station Gallery. (The old VIA station.) Opening afternoon of Sat., Nov. 29. I'll be there! :-) It hangs until Jan. 17/26 (even though this art card says Jan. 10.) Gallery hours Wed. to Sat. 11am to 4pm.

My last post (?) on X. (I'll check my DMs for a spell.) Maybe I'll see you over at Bluesky🦋@ NicholsonNature. I'll be posting there as intermittently as I did on X. :-)

I'll be back in the teeth of an Ontario December soon. Until then, more blue skies and tropical hummers.

I was birding the slopes of Costa Rica's northern volcanos this morning. Drizzly up there, but nice birds including this Rufous-tailed Jacamar.

I encountered this Southern Lapwing on my morning hike.

Crested Caracaras from my morning walk. I love the blue skies.

From this morning's walk. We get fly-through Whimbrels up north, but fun to see them over-wintering. And at my feet. :-)

I'm in Costa Rica for the first time. This Yellow-headed Caracara was waiting for me.

@NicholsonNature This will help … the how to do it. Within a few hours of joining and then posting I had about 20 followers who are birder types and photographers. I was contacted after my first post by someone who curates the ‘birds’ list. I’m impressed.

It was a beautiful day to be birding in north London. I looked up from time to time, hoping to see a Golden Eagle overhead. Was rewarded with an adult Bald and two sub-adults. Nature is grand. :-)
