Trevor Phillips just DESTROYED Zack Polanski on national TV. This is the first time I've seen an interviewer PROPERLY hold an extreme, far-left politician to account. In a normal world this would permanently end his political career. Utterly DAMNING for Polanski. 🔥

@mdsbfc @rawespresso Iphone 14, haven't been abroad in 4 years, go camping instead, never been to Glastonbury, don't drink anymore because what's the point it just bankrupts you and all the decent nightlife near me is gone. Stopped eating takeaways, just treat myself to one coffee. Living the life!

The UK economy has produced a generation of 30-year-olds who can't afford to leave home, can't afford to have kids, can't afford to retire, and can't afford to take a sick day.

The U.S. government has to refund $166 billion in tariffs, PLUS interests. Trump said he would be paying Americans checks from tariffs and eventually even replace the income tax. So now not only are you not getting DOGE checks after he cancelled DOGE, you’re not getting tariff checks and paying the interests back on tariffs collected. And you are also paying $2 billion a day for Trump and Netanyahu’s war in Iran. And you are paying on avg $4 per gallon gas and inflation is rising again. The lack of humility and understanding the struggle of regular Americans is astounding to me. Trump and his lackeys demand loyalty and name call and bully yet Americans struggle more and more.

I met my husband at a rave in 1992. We still have a playlist we love listening to at the weekend. Today we were chatting about how Gen X was probably the luckiest generation. The 70s felt like the Wild West - hilarious telly, fashion and music, zero political correctness, and total freedom. I learned to ride my bike during that hot summer of ‘76. The 80s were our teenage years, the best music, films and an incredible club scene. The 90’s were absolute peak. The rave culture was something else entirely — you really did have to be there to understand how extraordinary it was. Britpop was incredible, bars and clubs were thriving everywhere, and it just felt like one long, brilliant party. Not like now. #RestoreBritain

@trader1sz How long did it take you to get a comfortable system that worked? Did it just click one day through trial and error or did you have a professional mentor?

🚨 GUYS ARE SMASHING THEIR OWN FACES WITH HAMMERS TO “LOOKSMAXX” — DOCTORS ARE SOUNDING THE ALARM ON THE CLAVICULAR TREND A disturbing trend is spreading online: Young men are deliberately hitting their cheekbones and jaws with hammers, pans, anything they can find, believing it will make them more “chiseled.” It’s being pushed by influencer “Clavicular” (800K followers), who claims: “When you break the bone, it grows back stronger.” Doctors warn this can lead to: • Permanent nerve damage • Facial paralysis or numbness • Brain injury + concussions • In one case: a fracture behind the eye → blindness Experts say this trend is fueling body dysmorphia among young men, driven by social media pressure and extreme “looksmaxing” culture. Who do you blame more... the influencer or the people doing it?

Netherlands just announced a new 120% wealth tax It will apply to the ultra-rich who earn above €150k per year So if you make €200k, you pay €60k on the €50k above the threshold Dutch officials explained it is to "discourage wealth hoarding behaviour" So beautifuly said Finally someone in Europe has the moral spine to put an end this selfish accumulation of wealth No human being should make over €150k a year It is a vulgar and borderline pornographic amount I hope more EU countries will adopt this progressive legislation This is why Europe is, and always will be, light years ahead of America

@Lauren_Chris @BrentAWilliams2 Ya, let's give them more tax breaks! It's certainly been working out ever since Reaganomics! Trickle down baby! Any day now we'll all be rich. Some of the taxes are dumb, sure, but getting rid of loopholes and just raising the effective tax rate would go a long ways.

@OliverCramon But how do you have a thriving economy if people don't have money to spend in it? No one has money to do anything or buy assets. How is that good for the economy?

Kapitalisme er det bedste system til at bekæmpe fattigdom, fordi der skabes værdi. Omfordeling kan aldrig være en effektiv løsning, fordi det ikke skaber værdi, det omrokerer det bare.

@BaudanzaJoseph @PositivFuturist True, Neo-liberalism was the push back against social structures that were put in place after the war though. Just the newest system to maintain power at the top.

@NickDeleste99 @PositivFuturist They were the same before Neoliberalism too. The state, in every civilization (all the way back to Sumaria) has worked to the benefit of the wealthy. It's just wealth used to be tied strictly to heritage, landownership, and military power. Now it's mega corps.

@DominicMcGregor Invasive species 🤣 You mean the 15 million people living in poverty? 5 million children? Growing number of people using food banks. or the fact that top 1% own more wealth than bottom 70%. Tell me who the invasive species is again?

As a Green Party follower, you’ll be familiar with trees. There are two ways to own the tallest tree in the forest. You either nurture it, feed it, and give it everything it needs to grow. Or you cut down every other tree around it so yours stands tallest by default. One builds something. The other just shrinks everyone else. I’d rather grow the forest. You’d rather take an axe to it.

Just to make it clear: There will never be a time when it’s morally justifiable to pay the CEO of Tesco £10million. Ever. If you can’t grasp that you’re actually just an incredibly shitty person.

Stop saying employers aren't paying enough that's why people need their wages topped up by Universal Credit. If you need your wages topping up because you're a bit short every month, get a second job or cut back your expenditure. It may have escaped your notice but businesses are going bust everywhere because of high energy costs, high business rates, minimum wage increases and higher employer's NI contributions. Employers can't pay more. Take some responsibility people. Stop expecting the state to bail you out!

The British Green Party want to cap British CEO pay to like $100 an hour lol. My highest ever Twitter payment was like $4000 over 14 days, which would have worked out to nearly $100 an hour just to post. So British CEOs would be paid less than random Twitter shitposters under the British Green Party
Politics UK@PolitlcsUK

🚨 NEW: Green leader Zack Polanski will call for policies to end the "affordability crisis" tomorrow - The introduction of a 10:1 pay ratio, whereby the highest-paid employee earns no more than ten times the lowest-paid - Free school meals for all primary and secondary pupils - Universal energy bill support for households and stronger rent controls - A customs union with the EU to cut business costs

@NickDeleste99 @trwsenti Tbf, I am 23. The average wage in this country is like £38k for ALL workers. A 23 year old is pretty young. So £30k for me alone is quite a fair amount in my opinion. It will go up to £32k next month.

£50K was a middle class salary 10 years ago. In 2026 it's rent, car finance, a weekly shop and taxes with nothing left by the 25th. It's now a working class salary.
