@UtdVault Everyone forgets or chooses to forget what schmeichel yelled in his face at old Trafford few months before. I even remember it being brought up on greavsies evening show on itv. Different times people got away with shit like this back in the 90s, stoichkov on desailly euro 96 too
Mikel Arteta is potentially about to be a former Premier League Player to win the Premier League title as a Manager, but he won’t be the first…
Anyone know who was?
@MrDtAFC Ha ha remember this and we still went on to lose 3-1 and then remember the return at loftus Road when QPR refused to move the fixture to a Sunday after we'd played sampdoria on the Thursday night before!
I was at the old Dell when Thierry scored his first-ever goal. I was at Filbert Street when Wrighty scored his first goal. I was at Highbury when Dennis scored his first goal. I was at the Emirates when Max scored his first goal, but none of them is my favourite. I was there at Highbury when John bloody Jenson scored against QPR. If you know you know. We waited so long for that moment. They even printed a t-shirt saying “I was there when Johnny scored” 😂
Paul Scholes backs Chelsea to beat or draw against Arsenal:
🗣️ "I fancy Chelsea. I think it could be 0-0. I think it will be a draw or a Chelsea win."

@RadioDeadly I was really looking forward to the Cannock show and really disappointed in the cancellation. Just an avid music fan and only discovered the misfits a few months ago and been listening to the albums none stop mainly American pyscho. Never listened to music for political reasons
Statement from Michale Graves
Over the past days, I’ve become aware of an aggressive online campaign of organizations and individuals focused on my upcoming shows in Europe. I respect that people may hold different opinions or choose not to attend these shows. I am very concerned that venues, staff members, and people simply doing their jobs are now being placed under significant pressure and distress and in some instances being threatened to simply show up at there job.
I want to be very clear: my shows are about music, community, and shared passion. I do not promote violence, hatred, or harm, and those who have attended my performances know that my focus has always been bringing people together through music. All are welcome.
The live music scene should remain a safe and inclusive space for everyone — artists, fans, venue staff, and local communities alike. No one should feel unsafe or intimidated for participating in or supporting live music events.
If my music is not for you, I fully respect your choice not to attend. However, I respectfully ask that disagreements remain peaceful and that the hardworking people behind these venues are treated with respect.
I look forward to performing for those who wish to be there and sharing music in a positive, safe and respectful environment.
@BarryMinta81@RefEnglish Yeah pretty sure Americans says darter and we say data, in the film big there's a line where Elizabeth perkins says he came from darter processing
For me, @Stranger_Things Season5 just proves how braindead viewers have become (or they are just rage baiting for views on X)
1. Will being gay has been a part of the show since Season 1. Was literally the first thing mentioned between Joyce and Hopper at the police station and has been something Will has been coming to terms with the entire show. His powers have nothing to do with him being gay. But coming out in the 80s was not an easy thing to do and Vecna latches on to YOUR WORST FEAR to control you. Or maybe you all skipped the 4 kids he killed in season 4? You know that whole thing with the grandfather clock? 🤯
Robin also had a whole conversation about it with Steve to give “coming out” context. If Steve asks out a girl, no big deal. But if Robin asks out “the wrong” girl… not the same.
So Will coming out should have been something you all expected to see if you have actually been paying attention. It wasnt woke, it wasnt an agenda. It was just part of the story. Gay kids existed in the 80s, not a big deal and for the final battle Will needed to overcome his worst fear to stand a chance against Vecna.
2. Now for the people saying they “retconned” the Upside-down. Did you all just close your eyes when they finally revealed the battle between Eleven and Henry? She blasted him to a different planet that looked NOTHING like Hawkins and Henry says in that place he “became an explorer”. That’s how he found the Mind Flayer.
How were you not wondering this whole time where he was? The planet was bright with lightning everywhere. Clearly not the Upside-down.
3. Nancy & Jonathan breakup scene. “Will you unmarry me” was a pretty clear acceptance of a break-up. Tossing the ring should have been an indicator to you as well.
Was obvious in Season4 they were drifting apart and the “shared trauma” was the only thing holding them together.
In the words of the great Mr. Witwicky “HA! How long you gonna ride that scooter?”
Now all at being said:
✅ Yes #8 is annoying AF.
✅ I also thought Maxx was blind.
✅ How did Argyle leave the quarantine?
✅ Nobody cared to check on Mr. Wheeler in the hospital after demodog attack?
✅ Scott Clarke FINALLY being let in on the story was awesome.
With 1 episode left I am not sure how they are going to button up all the storylines.
But saying Season5 is “bad” is just not true.
@TikiTakaConnor Was fuming at this, he literally got an accidental slap to his jaw from his own player and yet goes down like he's been hit with a bat. Ref somehow buys it
@selormafc John Hartson, Tony Adams, Martin Keown, Paul Merson, David Seaman, Andy Linighan, Ray Parlour, Nigel Winterburn, Ian Wright, Stefano Schwarz and Lee Dixon,
@MrDtAFC Fair play, you also admitted the same about ramsdale even though in the end his form declined. Fingers crossed Madueke keeps up this great form 👍
@AFTVMedia From memory the torn hamstring at palace he literally got took off on a stretcher in agony and missed just over 3 months. Fingers crossed this is only a pulled one as walked off the pitch, weeks hopefully 🙏
@MrDtAFC Wow littlewoods cup 87 my earliest arsenal memory then luton 88 my worst nightmare 😢 but then Anfield 89, oh to be 7, 8 and then 9 to live through that 😀
Nobody will ever stop me from doing what I love and have been doing since some of you were in your dad's ballbags.
I've experienced the highest highs and lowest lows, but wouldn't change anything about it.
Supporting this club is a rollercoaster, and I'm ready for another crazy ride this season.
I also had no choice in what haircut I had back then. My Mum did it 😂
@Juzmason14@stusfootyflash@irish_pics We were awful that night, clueless Graham Taylor wouldn't pick waddle, dropped Gazza but still how ireland fucked up a 3-1 advantage against a weak polish team! This was the real reason your boys failed plus a 0-0 in Dublin against them
@stusfootyflash@irish_pics We battered you that night. How we didn’t win I never know. Lee Dixon effort whacks off Staunton and goes in. Houghton’s miss at the end.
We should have gone to Sweden not yourselves.
34 years ago. Where are the years going?
England vs Ireland from today in 1991, and a period of play which perfectly sums up the Jack Charlton philosophy.
With the home side penned in their own box, here’s two relentless minutes of long ball, pressing, direct football.
Put ‘em under pressure.
