Not embarrassing, depending on the goal. It's reminiscent of Aldrich's first couple OOC schedules. Longwood is in a one-bid league and has not had consistent success in D1. What would be gained in scheduling every ACC and G5 team in Virginia and the Carolinas?

@65hole @LongwoodBlue The whole point is to schedule competition that actually measures the line up & pitching staff. If we faced all top 25 schools they would have no clue what to gain from the info going into conference. This is a way to establish confidence & measure performance.

@LongwoodBlue Yes it’s a one bid league so non conference games should be hard and challenging preparing the team for the conference tournament. Setting up an easy schedule does nothing other than give useless optics. The he whole goal is to get to the regional not win worthless games
