LeBron's career will only look more fraudulent as time goes on. In 10 years he will not be thought of as the 2nd greatest basketball player ever, as he seems to be largely thought of today. His career is so overrated currently, w Klutch and the stan Bronsexuals being largely to blame.

This is a great clip and great analysis from Jacob. This is my concern for Caitlin Clark. The best players commit to a structure, a system. The social media basketball ecosystem loves to stat-watch. "Angel Reese had a double double." No one cares if the Sky lose.
Jacob@Jacobtheclipper

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: The triangle offense was basketball with PURPOSE, the Bulls and Lakers had counters to everything the defense did. It was a game of chess for them. But this type of offense sacrifices stats for Kobe and Jordan since they are not creating all the plays and getting assists. Even though it’s their amazing scoring threat that directly opens up all the shots for everyone else, it didn’t show up on the boxscore. To the untrained eye who just looks at the boxscore, it will make you think LeBron is an AMAZING playmaker, but in reality Bron has never played in a true system. He has been the system, because thats the only way he knows how to play. He plays ACCIDENTAL basketball and drives and kicks all game to rack up assists. But this is not WINNING basketball. It is very predictable and usually results in Bron getting locked up come playoff time. This type of basketball is low level hoops, kids in the playgrounds play like that. So next time some idiot on this app says, “Jordan and Kobe were not good playmakers”- show them this video. If Kobe and Jordan had the ball on top of the 3 EVERY possession and drove and kicked all game they would average a triple double. But they wouldn’t win.. They chose winning over cheap stat padding ✌🏻

Richard Jefferson says he’d choose Karl Malone over Charles Barkley because Malone was more professional, while Barkley had off-court partying issues and didn’t want to be a role model “The reason why I would pick Karl Malone over Charles is because of the level of professionalism that Karl Malone always approached. So when I look at Karl Malone versus Charles — when Charles was in Philly, he was in and out of shape, and then he would — some of his off-the-court partying that we knew about…I'm saying Charles was a rebel. He's not a role model. So I'm not taking shots at him. But I'm saying, when you look at a guy like Karl Malone who trained for eight hours a day, he played for 19 years. He was second in scoring. And if his body would have held up, he probably would have been the all-time leading scorer," (Via @RoadTrippinPod / h/t @RTNBA, basketballnetwork.net/latest-news/ri…)

@espn @kendra__andrews This should matter, maybe the best female basketball player there is, but more #WNBA fans care about following Angel Reese for whatever the reason.

@MLBNetwork I would take Corbin Carroll over Jackson Merrill. Carroll is a much more proven hitter to me.

@TheDunkCentral I think they probably got the right top 5 players, but I'd put Cade ahead of Brunson at #3. He's a young ascending player. This past season Cade seemed to break through, he had a much improved season.

@LoveTheOrange1 Agreed, at this point I would lean Bird as well. It's close, both you can argue are top 5 all time, but IMO Bron is overrated, especially the last 10+ years or so.

This is an out of touch Tigers fan. Tarik Skubal is a Boras client. Boras clients almost never re-sign without first going to free agency. Unfortunately this makes the chances the Tigers can resign Skubal pretty slim. Whatever way you want to spin it, the younger Illitch has been hesitant to spend on payroll when compared to his father, and Skubal will go to the highest bidder. Also, Tigers are at the least a contender this year, and this should not be the focus.

Police officers are being murdered, seemingly every other day, and this is the bullshit "controversy" that ABC is going on about? This is why the @DNC will not win president for probably decades. It's become the "social justice" party above all else. And by "social justice" I mean anything considered anti-white people and pro every other race.

Or, @bomani_jones, could the writers have been being nice to Lamar Jackson when it came to voting him all-pro? Bottom line is, and you can deny it all you want, but even the Ravens would take Josh Allen over Lamar Jackson if they could choose. As would every other team in the NFL.

Bomani Jones on Lamar Jackson: “The only reason he’s not a 3X MVP is because the writers wanted to be nice to Josh Allen. That’s the only reasonable explanation for how it is that Lamar Jackson can be first team All-Pro and Josh Allen win the MVP”

Lyle May? Really? A guy who murdered a mother and her 4 year old child? Lyle May deserves no humanity, and like most murderers, he's a coward frightened of his own death. Facts below.... "On 8 July 1997, Diane Boussois was at her home in Asheville.   Her son, Darrell Godfrey, was entertaining guests.   These guests included defendant in this case, Lyle Clinton May, and the victims in this case, Valeri Sue Riddle and her four-year-old son, Kelley Mark Laird.   The next morning, 9 July 1997, Ms. Boussois left home and saw Valeri Riddle, Mark Laird, and Darrell Godfrey up and awake.   When Ms. Boussois returned home around 11:30 p.m., the house was empty, but she found a red liquid on the floor which she later learned was blood. In the early morning hours of 10 July 1997, the Asheville Police found the dead bodies of Valeri Riddle and Mark Laird on a pull-off area on the Blue Ridge Parkway.   The police found at the Parkway scene a variety of personal items, including a Swiss army knife with a broken blade.   They also found a larger knife 2.3 miles from the Parkway scene. Near the time that the police discovered the bodies of the victims, they also located defendant outside a restaurant in Asheville.   Asheville Police Officer Darren Moore saw defendant in the parking lot and noticed that he had blood on his shirt, socks, and shoes, and cuts on his arms.   The police later found that some of this blood came from the victims.   After confronting defendant, Officer Moore arrested him without incident and took him to the police station.   There, during a police interview, defendant confessed.   In addition to an oral confession, defendant gave a confession in his own handwriting.   In that written statement, he confessed that he had stabbed Valeri Riddle to death because she “got on [his and Godfrey's] nerves.”   He also wrote that he had killed Mark Laird because he “did not want to see the kid crying or having the memory of his mom getting killed.”   He then described how he had disposed of the bodies and how Godfrey had “watched both killings and went along willingly for the ride.” The police also found significant physical evidence indicating defendant's guilt.   That evidence included DNA from both victims on defendant's socks and shorts and defendant's DNA on the pillowcase from Ms. Boussois' home, where the murders had occurred.   A box of matches found on defendant at the time of his arrest was of the same kind as matches found near the victims' bodies.   The police also found defendant's bloody fingerprint on the trunk of Valeri Riddle's car. The autopsy report showed that Valeri Riddle had been stabbed multiple times.   She had suffered blunt-force injuries that fractured her skull, and her neck had been broken.   Mark Laird had been stabbed and beaten.   His blunt-force injuries were likely made by a heavy, cylindrical object like a pipe or baseball bat."

Below is the +/- of the Lakers starting lineup in the 2024-25 season. Let me know if anybody sticks out to you... Luka +176 on the Lakers, +344 overall Austin Reaves +195 Hachimura +158 Finney-Smith +268 LeBron -54 This is why the Lakers would trade LeBron if they could for literally nothing back in return. Based on those numbers you can make a strong(and obvious) case that Lebron held the Lakers back last season, and he's not going to be any better this season.
