A lot of people judging Jaryd, calling him selfish for taking his life. I’m assuming most of these people have absolutely no idea what was going on for him. Maybe he was on medication, seeing a professional, speaking with mates. Please don’t judge, just be kind and sympathise.

Incredible effort at his age, extraordinary. Did just see one person say it would be a global record, which is half true - it’s James McDonald’s global record (includes wins abroad) but it is not the most by any jockey. Ryan Moore has ridden 218 G1 winners globally.

GOLIATH – FWD QEII CUP – 27 APRIL 2025 The Department of Veterinary Regulation, Welfare & Biosecurity Policy have advised the Stewards that GOLIATH, which is entered to run in the FWD QEII Cup at Sha Tin on 27 April 2025, has a condition known as stringhalt, which results in the horse having an abnormal action with its left hind leg when walking and trotting. GOLIATH has raced successfully with this condition throughout its career and has been passed suitable by the Veterinary Officers to present for its routine pre-race veterinary inspections to be conducted this week.
