@spenderallegra @GrattanInst This will create more inequity for low and middle income citizens. Why don't you campaign for all gov (local, state, fed) to get off gas across all gov buildings, could be a good case study.

Australia needs to get off gas. All-electric homes are cheaper to run, better for our health, and reduce emissions.
But we won’t get there by wishful thinking.
The Federal govt needs to show a lot more courage & ambition.

Thank you. Currently in Day 3 of 7-Day COVID Isolation. The anti-virals dropped my fever from 38.5 to 36.7 (I know, the Sample Size is One, so it's not Statistically Significant).

A color palette can't be "accessible". Accessibility only comes into play when considering the combination of multiple colors.
I've seen a number of "accessible color palettes" lately. I'm p sure I could use those and still flub up accessibility.

I wear masks in many, but not all, circumstances. But you are correct - I will increase my frequency of mask-wearing, especially in winter.

@DoctorKarl I'm waiting for someone in the world to advocate wearing masks, and to actually DO IT themselves. The Royal Family could have saved untold thousands of lives if they had started that "trend". I've given up on them. As it is, anyone will do now. How about you, Dr Karl?

This also bothers me. 2,000 dead from COVID in 2 years. Then 5,000 dead in 5 months! That’s equivalent to a jetliner crashing every week.

@DoctorKarl My understanding is that in Australia, 2022 more people have already died of/with Covid than in the previous two years together. That is why there is no fuss about it anymore. We don't know how many will be dead by the end of the year. #auspol #pandemic

Horrific. Ramadan is meant to be a time of peace and reflection. It is simply cruel and wrong to attack a people in their place of worship, a place that is meant to be sacred. We must denounce this brutality and end the hypocrisy.
