He also has a higher completion% under pressure than Stafford, Mahomes, and Love and the 8th highest passer rating. He’s not perfect, but he’s not the worst. Them: It’s the weather Me: Goff has thrown for 15 TD’s and 4 INT’s in cold weather games as a Lion. He competes 64% of his passes in those games. Them: He doesn’t pass well against winning teams Me: His passing stats against winning teams are just as good, if not better than Mahomes. The guy you tell me is perfect in every way. Them: What about wins and losses? Me: Those are team stats. Clearly Goff’s good play against winning teams shows he did his job in those games. Can’t control the other two phases. Them: He stat padded in those games Me: Splits will show you that the majority of Goff’s yards and touchdowns come in the second half. He’s thrown 17 of his 243 career touchdowns when trailing with four minutes to go. Them: Stop glazing him! He’s bad because we lost this week. Me: Exactly. You’re letting your emotions dictate your beliefs. Jared Goff had a bad game Sunday. No doubt about it. You’re crazy if you think this happens all the time and you’re crazier if you think they need to get rid of him now.
