Personal update: Last weekend, while covering the Knicks riots in Times Square, I got clocked in the head by a flying glass bottle Doctors believe I suffered a concussion, resulting in confusion, brain fog, and fatigue—the latter two I’m still dealing with days later. That’s why my post volume has dropped, as I’m still the only one who posts on my account. Thanks so much for all your support, and I hope to be back on the road covering stories ASAP 🙂🇺🇸

@mattvanswol I’m so sick of this crap. These people get into power and refuse to let it go. They don’t care about their constituents. It’s all about them.

@nicksortor That’s absolutely absurd man. He’s got to step down. We can’t have a person representing the American people who doesn’t have the physical or mental capacity to do so. We need term limits so badly. If he wants to do right by the people he represents, he should step down.

🚨 JUST IN: Mitch McConnell’s office has released a statement and PHOTO of the Senator sitting in his hospital bed confirming he will NOT be on the Senate floor anytime soon Hey McConnell: you do not OWN that Senate seat. If you can’t do your job, RESIGN. Kentuckians deserve their representation. And you’re not representing them. I’m sorry you’re in bad shape, but Kentuckians should not be burdened by your inability to do the job you were elected to do. — FULL STATEMENT FROM McCONNELL’S OFFICE: “To my fellow Kentuckians –    When you elected me to a seventh term and made me our Commonwealth’s longest serving Senator, you did so trusting that I’d keep showing up to fight for you every day. And over the past several weeks, Elaine and I have appreciated both your well wishes and your honest questions about what was keeping me away from the Senate.   You all know how folks of my generation often hesitate to share the vulnerability that comes with growing older. Even in the public eye, I feel that same instinct – I can’t help it.   But at the same time, I’ve had more than my share of experience with physical vulnerabilities. Surviving childhood polio meant spending my entire life with mobility challenges. They haven’t exactly gotten easier to manage with age. And last month, I took a fall which landed me in the hospital.   My doctors have confirmed that I didn’t break any bones or suffer a concussion. I didn’t have a heart attack or a stroke. I don’t have any tumors or hemorrhages. But I was briefly unconscious and was taken to the hospital. While receiving excellent care over the past several weeks, I’ve also had to deal with a mild case of pneumonia.   I can assure you that I’ve been a good patient. At my age, I tend to do what my doctors tell me to do. I’ve submitted to every test they can think of to help figure out what caused this incident. And I’m continuing to do everything they ask to speed my recovery. In fact, with signs of continued progress, I’ve been able to move from hospital care to a rehabilitation center where I’ll keep regaining my strength.   As much as it frustrates me, this process takes time. And on the advice of my doctors, I won’t be able to return to the Senate floor to vote quite yet. But rest assured that, in the meantime, I’m not taking a break from the Senate business that matters to you. I’ve been working closely with my legislative staff on current issues, and with my Kentucky team who help me provide timely constituent services across our Commonwealth. I’ve also been keeping in touch with my Senate colleagues on the appropriations process, midterm politics, and everything in between.   You’re right to expect your representatives to work hard for you. And part of my decision to retire at the end of my term this coming January was being honest about the demands of Senate work. But I still have unfinished business to complete on your behalf, and I have every intention of finishing the job you elected me to do.   I’ll keep working hard to get back on the Senate floor as soon as possible. And I’ll keep you posted on the progress of my recovery. Until then, I’m so grateful for your prayers and well wishes.

It’s no secret that I’m no fan of Lindsey Graham. But there MUST be a full, comprehensive autopsy, and the results must be released to the public. Graham has no kids and was never married, so it’s unclear who makes that call. But Americans deserve transparency here

I don't want to scream conspiracy but you don't give a speech in perfect health one day and die the next unless it was a cardiac event. Russia, Ukraine and Iran all need to be looked at equally and unbiasedly. Yes, Lindsey loved a good war and was very supportive of Ukraine but think of what they have to gain if the blame falls on Russia. Personally, I'm leaning towards Iran. Something ain't right. I was never a big fan of his but he was far from the worse and I'm sad to hear he passed so unexpectedly.

So just to be clear: a US Senator can disappear off the face of the planet and there’s nothing ANYBODY can do about it? The people of Kentucky are just told to sit down and shut up while half of their Senators are MIA? Complete bullsht.

Listen to me and listen good. I used to train the snipers that trained the snipers in the military. I have shot all 3628 different variations of .30-06 rifles. ALL OF THEM. MULTIPLE TIMES. I literally have a certificate on my wall from the .30-06 Rifle Shooters Organization. A .30-06 bullet will make a human head LITERALLY implode simply by whizzing past one. I’ve seen it happen in Bosnia. I’ve seen it happen in Iran. I’ve seen it happen in Destin Florida. If a .30-06 round hits any part of the human body, the entire body will EXPLODE. And here’s a little fun fact for all the internet experts out there: - 30 stands for how many deaths one round can cause. - 06 is a humans chance of survival if they are shot with one of these rounds. So shut your fucking mouths if you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Were we in the same courtroom? I was at the Charlie Kirk murder trial in Provo, Utah where Judge Tony Graf called for the attorney for the victim to play a video described as “high definition enhanced version of the security cameras.” Multiple new clips, zoom ins and red circle enhancements in this video. It showed clear images of Tyler Robinson’s Dodge Challenger, license plate, hubcaps, clothing, movements around campus in multiple visits as he stalked Charlie, climbing onto the rooftop, lumbering across the rooftop, laying in a prone sniper position on the Losi rooftop at 12:22 PM. Taking a shot at 12:23 PM. And fleeing the crime scene. It was so compelling the entire room gasped as the Kirk’s wept bitterly in the front row and Tyler Robinson looked at the ground. Multiple corporate media reporters in the room described the same video and scene. Did you camp out all night in your sleeping bag just to miss this critical moment? Or perhaps there’s another reason you’re not being honest…
Brandi Siciliani@brandisiciliani

I was in the courtroom today. There is no high-quality, zoomed-in footage showing anyone taking a shot. The video shown is the same distance as the footage of “Tyler” jumping off the roof shown in this screen shot.  I have no idea why people are claiming otherwise. They know the video isn’t going to be released publicly, so they’re misrepresenting what was actually shown in court.
