So excited to share this important work showing intramuscular adipose accumulation is a key determinant of leg function in PAD. Still work to do for actionable therapies, but hopefully a strong foundation to develop ways to help these patients!

Thrilled to share our new study in collaboration with @TerenceRyan_PhD. We find that intramuscular adipose tissue (IMAT) directly impairs limb muscle function in PAD/CLTI and that preventing IMAT formation improves functional outcomes in experimental PAD. tinyurl.com/3efwaerh
