COUGARS END GOLD DROUGHT 🥇🐾 #5 / 3-seed Valley View (20-5) takes down #3 / 1-seed Scranton Prep (18-7) to claim district gold… final score 66-53! @VVCougars ends the streak 👊 handing Scranton Prep its first-ever championship loss at Mohegan Arena (now 8-1). After back-to-back title game losses in ‘23 and ‘24, the Cougars finally get it done. Prep had a 15-0 run but couldn’t overcome 20+ turnovers and Valley View’s momentum.
