I suppose it’s time to announce this. My time at the Waverly Newspapers has come to an end starting Friday. I won’t be going too far though as I’ve accepted the position of sports editor in Vinton! Thank you all for the support these last 2 years

The Union defense takes the Cyclones offense out of its game, Knights win 62-50. Talan Lafrentz finishes with 15 to lead the Cyclones. Cameron Mullen had 19 to lead Union.

At the break Union leads Denver, 34-28. So far this one is playing out very similarly to the Dunk/GR game. Denver is making some runs at Union but the knights keep hitting big shots. Talan Lafrentz and Chase McEwan both with 11 for Denver. Cameron Mullen has 11 for Union.
