Howe’s biggest mistake was massively over achieving in first 4 seasons Achieved something that countless managers before him couldn’t If there is a manager who would guarantee a cup + 2 CL campaigns in next 3 years I’d swap Howe for them immediately But there isn’t #NUFC

A very frustrating season, and without a doubt we are all very disappointed. You fans definitely did not deserve this. But football doesn’t always go the way we plan. Individually, I managed to have the season with the most goal contributions in my career, and I would trade all of that for a better position in the table. Barnes and Murphy should have had the biggest run in the side from the start as goals from Barnes and good crosses from Murphy were better output.

The issues started with Isak saga in last summers transfer window. Why did Isak behave in such a manner to force a move. What was so bad at the club for him to behave so atrociously. The majority of this seasons team were the same as last season…why did the same players drop off so badly ? Even Eddie looks haggard. I believe it isn’t just about Eddie but more about the entire club
