Realized it's been a while since i've introduced myself so here's a quick recap:
I run fractional ambassador programs for leading consumer brands like Substack, World (Sam Altman’s company), Cantina Labs (Sean Parker’s company), and many others.
Here’s a quick recap of how I got here:
>2022:
Landed a job at Clubhouse as a product designer and gained invaluable experience working at a hyper-growth company. After being laid off, I realized just how much I value autonomy.
>2023:
Decided to take a shot and started a small app studio. We built a total of three apps that didn’t quite gain traction. Meanwhile we had competitors in the market with the exact same app that were absolutely crushing us. The main differentiator? They were leveraging TikTok as their distribution engine. This sparked my curiosity.
>Mid-2024:
Joined Iverson, where I worked on some amazing consumer apps, including EarlyBird and Stompers. I went back to a product design role where I also had the opportunity to run growth experiments. This is where I became focused on modern product growth loops and the process of seeding an app. This ignited my drive to learn TikTok marketing.
>Late 2024:
Started a newsletter called Playkit, where I break down social media marketing strategies for consumer apps. I built this primarily for my own learning, but it quickly gained traction. Through Playkit, I met @juliapintar, a super talented growth marketer and now my cofounder.
>Present:
Newsletter turned into an agency. It’s officially been six months since starting Playkit, and I’m blown away by what we’ve accomplished. We’ve generated over 100M+ views to date, worked with Y Combinator and Sam Altman-backed companies, built our own internal tracking tool, and much more.
Moving forward, I’ll be sharing everything I’ve learned since starting Playkit-from actionable insights on using TikTok to drive growth for consumer apps, to the tools and strategies behind creating viral videos. If you’re interested in growth marketing or building standout brands, follow along.
