@Nick_Skopal It can work anywhere as long as you have a clear view of the sky! I got 7cm accuracy in town and 2-3cm at the site, which is in a remote location.

First day of fieldwork is a wrap. 7 hrs of hiking to place 12 ground control points across the site. Remarkably, the Trimble Catalyst system (i.e. GPS with no base station) yielded 2-3cm accuracy! Drone flight tomorrow! More pictures to come!
