Today was a Wednesday I hope to remember for a long time. I made a lot of progress for my paper about the Department of Munitions and Supply, and I got to see the Umamusume Beginning of a New Era movie for a second time. I think Liberty Island enjoyed it as well.

@RaceCanada_ca @tomwisbrewski Yeah, I'm still not over the bus McLaren threw Hinch under. I was hoping Parker Thompson might be the next guy but it seems like he's gone the LMP/IMSA WEC route instead.

A bit of an aside from me but with all these buildings going up at the CNE grounds I'm starting to doubt the Toronto Indy will ever run there again.

@RaceCanada_ca I live in Mississauga so it's a long way getting to the track from here. (Though to be fair I guess it was the same for people in Markham going to Exhibition). I'm still unsure if I even want to go, drive early and park in one of the Mall parking lots near the track.

@Nick_Small_38 I don't see it ever coming back. I think if it doesn't work in Markham then we lose the race altogether. It may go to Montreal, but if not there, then likely gone from Canada altogether.

Team Canada has been having a great run at the 2026 Winter Olympics and our country is united in cheering on our athletes. As our men’s hockey team takes the ice this morning, I have directed that Ontario schools allow our students to watch and support Team Canada. Let’s go, Canada!

You can tell how much more intense curling at the Olympics is compared to every other curling event when following the exact letter of the rules is taking greater precedence over the spirit of the game.

@oskeemannyo Thanks Manny! The effect of touching the stone like that at the delivery end is virtually insignificant compared to sweeping. Technically, you cannot touch the stone again after initially letting go of the handle. Sometimes it happens but usually teams just let it go.

@Nick_Small_38 happy bday. And secondly does this finger touch really impact the rock thrown? And it all happens before jog line from what I see, does that make it different?
