The National Arts Council just confirmed that board members get paid PER HOUR that they attend meetings.
I would typically not have found fault with this until I learnt that they’re also getting PAID to account to parliament!

As a reminder, social housing is the ONLY government housing programme directly targeted at redressing the legacy of spatial apartheid. It is too important to collapse or become completely ineffective. 5/5

All of the above is made considerably worse by the fact that social housing is experiencing a profound funding crisis. Great projects that would contribute to fairer cities can’t get funded while public money is funnelled to what appear to be massively dodgy entities. 4/5
