Steelers practiced today and no one was allowed to be there and cover it. I don't get it. The NFL wants constant coverage. Young QBs are working. Rookies. New faces. These aren't Super Bowl prep practices. Let the media in so the fans can learn more about the team. Ridiculous.

It's elway. And anyone saying Marino because he didn't win a Super Bowl is parroting the laziest take in sports takes. If winning a super bowl is the difference between great and not great than Trent Dilfer, Jeff Hostetler, and Nick Foles must be great. There is no more of a team game than Football, Marino never had great defenses, but he was the best pure QB the game has ever had.

I’ve been seeing a lot of people discussing their feelings about a potential return of WR JuJu Smith-Schuster. Do I believe we need him? No, I don’t. This, in my opinion, is the deepest Pittsburgh Steelers football team we’ve had in a very long time. However, I’ve always loved JuJu and I know this city has always loved him as well. I’d welcome him back with open arms for a veteran minimum as long as he’s healthy. I wouldn’t expect high production from him, but he would be a fantastic mentor for Germie Bernard (very similar play styles) and would help out immensely in the blocking game. No. 19 is still available 👀

Well. The fan in me realizes this is their best chance to win THIS year. The realist knows it’s unlikely. But I’ll still lie to myself and think that maybe, just maybe Aaron and McCarthy can make magic just one more season. But please let this be it for the old Steelers QB’s.

The Steelers endless pursuit of Aaron Rodgers is proof that Mike Tomlin was not to blame for the Steelers obsession with trying to win 10 games every year. Even when it gets you no closer to winning the Super Bowl. It’s a Rooney philosophy. And it’s a bad one.
