@GrumpUmp @hasumpstuffedup I see your thinking, but the play on call is from the mark that was paid. The player can’t make a decision to advance from a decision that hasn’t been made. It cannot be play on from a 50m penalty until the 50 penalty is called.

@hasumpstuffedup Serious question, does the play on call overrule the 50? If the player plays on is that ok and played from where they are or does the award of the 50m stop play? I presume it’s the umpire’s judgement of it there is advantage and it’s hard to say playing on is advantage vs 50m.

Clear 50. It's a clear mark and the Collingwood players have then run over the mark, when not in the marking contest. They are not allowed to do that. This should have been paid. #AFL #AFLNorthPies
