I watch uber athletic kids in summer ball that can’t hit. They go to these top 25 schools and they still can’t hit. If you can’t destroy HS pitching, odds are you’re never gonna hit at higher levels. We can teach mechanics all we want. Putting the ball in play consistently is something you either can or can’t do.

Texas is being punished for Florida. It's true. But if it played Rice and not Ohio State, then 10-2 with that resume with the Florida loss is in. So, in reality, regardless of the verbal gymnastics people want to play, the Longhorns are being penalized for playing Ohio State because they didn't have to.
