He says this publicly because he knows the world will do nothing. After murdering 30,000 kids and turning the Gaza Strip to dust. Israel is now stealing 70% of it.

A source close to production on #MobLand tells us Tom Hardy โ€œrefused to come out of his trailer for hours at a time.โ€ โ€œHe kept the cast waiting, [which is] a power play. Keeping Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren and others waiting is career suicide, I would wager.โ€ If greenlit, season three is set to film from September, the source added, but Hardyโ€™s on-set behavior has spooked producers. His fate is yet to be decided, despite earlier reports that heโ€™d been fired from the show. Read the full story: hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/mobโ€ฆ

One reply came through with the following answer and question which was as follows: 'Out of interest, let's say we shelve this, whats your solution to help them?' I took the time to write a reasonably detailed reply but by the time I hit reply, the original question had been deleted. Given that I wrote a response, here is is anyway: An intelligent and reasonable question which merits a respectful answer so here goes: If Ireland shelves the Israeli Settlements Bill what would actually help the Palestinian people? The suffering in Gaza and the West Bank is real, however this bill is not compassion. It is student politics virtue signaling dressed up as foreign policy. It will achieve precisely zero for ordinary Palestinians while possibly damaging Ireland's economy by alienating some of our closest trading partners and investors and signaling that Dublin prefers slogans to credible statecraft. Here is what a realistic solution looks like: 1. Hamas must be decisively defeated and removed from power. The 7 October atrocities were not an aberration. They were the logical result of an Islamist death cult that diverts aid into rockets, tunnels and propaganda instead of schools hospitals and jobs. Until Hamas is dismantled demilitarised and what's left of its leadership held accountable, there will be no reconstruction and no normal life in Gaza. Ireland and Europe should support not undermine the pressure required to end this nightmare. 2. Palestinian leadership must be reformed. The Palestinian Authority must scrap its pay for slay policy end the systematic incitement in its schools and media and finally recognise Israel as the Jewish state. Peace cannot be built on textbooks that teach martyrdom as the highest calling. De-radicalisation, curriculum reform and accountable governance are non negotiable prerequisites for any viable future. 3. Prosperity must come through enterprise and growth, not endless aid or boycotts. Palestinians are an educated entrepreneurial people. What they need is opportunity private investment joint Israeli Palestinian industrial zones, tech partnerships and integration into the regional economy the Abraham Accords have begun to unlock. Ireland with our own success story of attracting FDI via openness and low taxes for investors could be a genuine partner here providing vocational training, business links and people to people exchanges instead of symbolic prohibitions that change nothing on the ground. 4. A regional approach is the only realistic path to peace. The old international community demands a two state solution mantra has failed for decades because it ignored Arab rejectionism and Palestinian maximalism. The Abraham Accords showed a better model normalisation between Israel and Arab states creates facts on the ground that make peace more attractive than perpetual conflict. A future Palestinian entity can emerge within that framework, provide secure borders for Israel and economic opportunity and self governance for Palestinians backed by rich Arab neighbours, some of whom have spent too long preferring rhetoric over real investment. Ireland's national interest is not served by the damage we inflict on ourselves by isolating (on this) from our most important allies and investors. American and Israeli linked companies employ tens of thousands of Irish people. More importantly real solidarity with Palestinians means telling hard truths, terrorism is the enemy of Palestinian aspirations, not Israel's existence. Peace requires mutual recognition security first and economic hope, not another feel good resolution in Leinster House. The Irish people are decent and generous. We want to see suffering end in the Holy Land. But real decency requires effectiveness, not gestures. If we truly wish to help Palestinian mothers, children and families we must champion realism over symbolism security over slogans and as everywhere, enterprise over aid dependency. That is the only path that has ever produced positive long term results. Anything less is not compassion it is performance. 5. There are already some existing charities that deliver very practical aid to Palestinians that need it, with none of that aid being diverted for unintended purposes. You just have to look carefully.

I note the Irish governmentโ€™s genius plan to impose sanctions on Israel is being promoted again. This time as the Israeli Settlements (Prohibition of Importation of Goods) Bill 2026. This is the exact same Occupied Territories Bill nonsense I was warning about back in January and February last year. It was a bad idea when it was first floated years ago, and itโ€™s just as bad an idea today. For the umpteenth time: none of this virtue-signaling nonsense will make any difference to Palestinians on the ground, or bring peace there any closer. What it will do is harm Ireland, measurably, economically and diplomatically with our closest friends and allies who invest massively in Ireland and support most of our modern economy. Itโ€™s pure student politics. Symbolic grandstanding that achieves nothing except damaging Irelandโ€™s national interests and we do have national interests.
Declan Ganley@declanganley

I see the Irish governmentโ€™s genius plan to impose sanctions on Israel is back in discussion again. That and their student politics stunt of joining South Africa, Cuba and other assorted leftist wackos legal case where Ireland wants to reinterpret international law so Israel can retroactively be found guilty of genocide. The highest praise the Irish govt got for that is from Hamas. So Iโ€™ll make this point for the umpteenth time. None of the virtue signaling nonsense from Ireland will make any difference whatsoever to Palestinians on the ground, or to bring peace there any closer. What it will do is harm Ireland, measurably, economically and more than most people currently think. Take this to the bank and save this tweet.

Horrible Congressman Thomas Massie put out an old Endorsement, from many years ago, of him by me long before I found out that he was the Worst Congressman in the History of our Country. I endorsed Ed Gallrein, a true American Patriot, which Massie knows full well, so the statement that he put out is fraudulent, just like HE is fraudulent.
