Our last two hours in Portsmouth. It’s been an absolute ball. Already planning a return trip as so much still to see. Even met a Darlek. So many people we have met have relatives in Wales or stories to tell about visits to God’s own country!!You’ve been lush!! Thank you.

Excellent stay at the Ship Leopard hotel. Great room, fab team and amazing breakfast. We shall stay again. Thank you.

My only issue is the price of the beer! £15.20 for 2 pints! At home I get 2 pints, a bag of crisps and change from a tenner!😂

What a day. HMS Victory was amazing but the Mary Rose was awesome. Couldn’t stop looking at it and thinking of Henry Vlll. Amazing 4D experience too. Now in the Waterfront in Gunwharf Quays enjoying a beer in the sunshine. I have to say everyone has been lovely. Thank you Pompey!

A lovely sunny view of HMS Warrior on my birthday from our hotel. Great day yesterday in Portsmouth and looking forward to the Historic Dockyard today. Loving the place so far. New book this morning - I think it’s going to be a very thought provoking read!!

Looking forward to visiting Portsmouth tomorrow for a few days- lovely birthday present from my partner. Catching up with a dear friend who lives in Cowplain and then spending my birthday seeing the Mary Rose and HMS Victory. Can’t wait.

Thank you @patrickgomont ( Mayor of Bayeux) for reposting this. Really looking forward to seeing the Tapestry again. So grateful that France have agreed to lend it to us for the first time in over 900 years!

The Bayeux Tapestry comes to the British Museum in Sept this year until July 2027. If you have never seen it try and take this opportunity. It’s absolutely amazing. I saw it in my teens and it made a lasting impression on me. I still remember it today. Isn’t history fabulous.

What a fantastic game of rugby between France and England. Fair play England you really took the game to them and played some great rugby. Really unlucky to lose in the last few minutes.
