During his interview, they offered him $16.50 an hour, even though he had zero experience. After that, I found out four other male employees who were hired in 2020 were also making $16.50. I asked a female coworker what she made before she left. She was making $12.50 too.

@Elenabardyf cant speak for 18-19,but generally men want to date younger because mindsets are different.Women in their 30s are looking to get serious/settle down,men in their 30s are looking to have fun because theyve busted their ass for a decade and finally at a stage where they can breathe

@simpleartfarmer Its not a communication issue,its a difference in mindset. Men are concrete,we see a problem and we want to solve it as efficiently as possible.Talking things to death doesnt suit us,even when are suffering emotionally we'd rather focus on whats going good than wallow in despair

I think one of the great ironies is that most of the men who make good husbands and fathers are relatively unskilled communicators. They lack the toolset to be manipulative, and can't say the right things, even when they recognize the need for soothing words. They would suck in most sales jobs. They can't be your therapist/girlfriend substitute. Women just need to accept that this is not a flaw, but a feature, and seek that kind of support from others.
