@plenty_onions I’m a stick. Loyalty is in short supply. Season back up was an anomaly and if we’d finished say 9th last year then say 7th this year then you’d say we’d made progress. To be clear I haven’t enjoyed the football one iota since the derby in August. I’m not confused about that!

All of the elite athletes I know eat ice cream, pizza, candy, and have an occasional beer. All of the mediocre athletes who are big on social media: lose their minds at the thought of some of those things. This holds beyond nutrition. Build robustness, not fragility.

Wishing Lindsey Vonn the best of luck after today’s crash. Yes I believe the recently torn left ACL played a role in this crash, either directly or indirectly. Likely having to do with stability and balance. That’s a moot point now, as she very well knew the risks of skiing with the injury, but she bravely tried to continue regardless. I hope that she did not sustain any significant injuries and we get good news soon. 🙏🏼
