What’s harder than a Monday morning? A Monday morning where your hot water cylinder broke so you couldn’t have a shower AND you have to be nil by mouth till the afternoon for a super fun, long MRI later 😩 It’s funny how the little things wake you up to start your day better

Franklin is ready for work. He thinks he’s grown up enough now and with his 6 months of life experience, it’s time he started to earn his keep. He’s ready to go out and become a barker, I mean banker and he’s happy to invest your money in snacks, I mean sticks, I mean stocks.

If anyone’s found a way to time travel I would love your help to skip this week. I won’t even tell anyone 🤐 I promise. (It should have been my first Mother’s Day on Sunday AND it’s my birthday that day.) I already feel worse than I did on the due date and it’s a whole week away.

@Knhannah It feels so bad this year! I’ve been getting them for weeks. And I feel like they push Mother’s Day 20 times stronger than Father’s Day.

The constant advertising and deal emails are twisting the knife. Only one company offered a mute option for the occasion. I’ve deleted my social apps because it hurts too much seeing everyone’s posts with their babies and families and I know that won’t ease until next Tuesday.

And with that, my last tomato plants are finally ripped out to make way for the next thing 🫡

Bad news for a Monday morning was that my local yarn shop is closing down 😭 Buying locally played a huge part in being able to switch to natural fibres. I hate I’ll now have to ship from overseas, which feels like it defeats the point of trying to do a good thing for the planet

I always thought I wouldn’t be good with wiggly teeth if I have kids, but it’s really taken me by surprise with my puppy losing his pup teeth 😖😅

Only when we got home I knelt down to hype him up and tell him what a good boy he is. But then he jumped up at me and now I have three scratch marks down my chest. May need to rethink my dress choice for work tomorrow 😅

I am SO proud of my boy 😭 I went for a short walk tonight and had THREE people stop me to talk about Frankie, what a good boy he was and how obedient he was, especially for a puppy. He did a pretty good job of lying at my feet while I chatted too. Proud pupper mama tonight 🥹
