WOW!!… WOW!!!! So proud of this group! What a Weekend at @LaserShowcase! This team started out 0-4 on the weekend against some GREAT teams & looked as if it would be a short weekend! They Started single Elim Bracket play Saturday night & got HOT! Finished 6-4 on The Weeknd & Tournament CHAMPS!! So many BIG moments in each bracket game but in the Ship @MSJSoftball commit @Madelyn_Erskine hit an ABSOLUTE 💣 (3 run) we tacked on and totaled 7 runs in the 1st. Credit to @Lasers_Orange for fighting back. Game ended 8-6 final. Orange is a team u cannot sleep on. Power & speed top to bottom of the lineup. It’s always fun to share the field with them. All-Ohio softball announced here. Riverdale's Brenna Farmer is 1st team in Division IV. Mohawk's Bailey Sheets is 2nd team. Carey's Julia Brodman and Riverdale's Addie Farmer receive honorable mention.

Carey's Julia Brodman is the player of the year, and Upper Sandusky's Luke Swavel is the coach of the year on the All-N10 softball team.

HS SOFTBALL: The Division IV district semifinal doubleheader at New Riegel HS on Monday has had its times flipped due to a concert at one of the schools that night. Now, Carey vs. Calvert will be at 4 p.m. while Hopewell-Loudon vs. Mohawk will follow. @NyeMatt @LonnieLMcMillan
