We love Story Invention. Capturing the learning so the ideas aren't lost in Story Invention. The little drawings strengthen new vocabulary & can be used by the children independently in their own inventions @Talk4Writing @LSEATWarrenRoad

Yr6, Moyle Primary School, loved exploring Shaun Tan's illustration from The Arrival during our shared write. We focused on using vivid verbs and adjective choices to paint a picture in the reader's mind, as well as making them feel how the characters might feel.
