Happy Birthday, Garry Marshall. This guy was the best mentor and role model in the biz. What truly stuck with me was how present, curious, and thoughtful he was. His favorite thing was meeting new people, learning everything about them, and making them laugh. He would keep up with everyone I introduced to him and made an impact on each of their lives, always leaving me wondering where he found the time. Most importantly, he was kind to my mom. When he first met my her, he took her to dinner at Umami Burger and told her, "Don't worry, order whatever you want; I can afford it. ;)" There aren't many days that go by that I don't think of the lessons he taught me and wish he were still here. Sending love up to the stars.✨✨✨
