Really important for people with Down syndrome given the already genetic risk loading for dementia IDS TILDA reports high levels of hearing loss let’s try and reduce modifiable risk factors like hearing loss

Many people with hearing and visual impairments are unaware of their loss, as the brain is very good at filling in the blanks without us realizing. Really important to have your hearing and vision checked at intervals from midlife onwards to promote optimal brain health.
