I’m sick to death of language describing women, girls & mothers being removed, when this doesn’t happen to men’s language. I’m sick to death of women’s sport being wrecked when it doesn’t happen to men’s. I’m sick to death of men validating their delusion in women’s intimate spaces, making women & girls extremely uncomfortable & intimidated. I loath this latest version of misogyny, and I despise the women who give away our hard won rights, safeguards & opportunities. Today was a good day!

In the UK, 70% of trans-identifying males (trans women) in prison are there for sexual offences an against women and children. By contrast, 18% of the male prison population overall are incarcerated for sexual offences. This begs the question: why is the rate so disproportionately high among trans identifying males? Yes, the number of trans identifying males in prison is relatively small, but it’s rising. And what matters most is not the size of the group, but the proportion. If 18% of male prisoners are convicted of sexual offences, why are 70% of trans identifying males (trans women) in prison for the same crimes? That percentage should align with the male average , not vastly exceed it. And it's getting worse.

@sharrond62 Ridiculous comment about prostitution. It's a choice there are other less well paid options but there is no excuse for prostitution as a means of earning a higher wage. The huge welfare provision in the UK makes prostitution a moral choice.

Then, women complained about them & demanded access, as they do with every single male space. The councils that fund them demanded women come in.

@sharrond62 That would never have happened in the school I was a governor of for 31 years. We did have mixed training; top cricketers used to come and coach them, and my daughter played; she did better than the boys, though. All sports there had male and female categories.

One of the saddest emailed I’ve received (& I’ve true horror stories too) was from a mum of a sporty 11yr old girl. A weak headmaster decided to run an ‘inclusive’ school sports day. Because one 9yr old boy thought he was a girl. So No categories. Just age races. Not one little girl won a race. The little girl said to her mum .. ‘why should I bother mum?’ This is what we’re telling our girls..
