@Dr_TheHistories This isn’t All Saints, Brixworth, it’s actually All Saint’s in Wing. The ambulatory in Brixworth was destroyed when the apse was rebuilt. The current apse was built to the original footprint but is open to the elements.

The Saxon crypt at All Saints’ Church, Brixworth is approximately 1250-1350 years old, making it one of most significant Anglo-Saxon architectural survivals in England 🏴
Likely constructed between 675-800 AD, it was originally built to allow pilgrims to walk around and view sacred relics without disturbing the main service above. This unique structure was part of a massive monastic basilica founded by monks from Medehampstead (modern-day Peterborough), and it remains one of only three such Saxon ring crypts in the country.
