@tunguz @VnSafeguard If you’re doing your phd to have the accolade of being read I think you missed the point! Go write a book. It about learning to think deeply to challenge constructively (something we will need more of in an AI world) and to try make a difference.

@VnSafeguard Nah. This is the self deluding BS that they feed you with. No one ever reads your PhD thesis. Not even the members of your defense committee.

Here is my advice, and I can’t be any more forceful about it: if you are considering joining a PhD program - DON’T!!!
