Telepathy I became army a little bit before festa 2022, so there’s no comeback era that I associate with (proof wasn’t released yet). I fell down the rabbit hole while watching run bts! clips that kept popping up on my ig feed and became completely enamored with their personalities and obvious chemistry. When I got to the point where I wanted to delve into their music, the vastness of their entire discography was daunting, so I decided to start with the latest album and work backwards. And the moment I heard Telepathy, I knew I would be all in. I didn’t know what the words meant but their voices and the music together bloomed a bright and hopeful feeling in me and has never left. And every time I hear it, it’s like feeling joy for the first time again.

Apple store staff said they had the apple listening thing for bad bunny at the superbowl too but nobody signed up or showed up. Apparently whenever they do these things they don't expect anyone to actually show up

Just met army acquaintance: you Yoongi stans are not normal, why you all be so crazy? Me (and all my sister wives): I have a thing for nerds, OK?!? And he’s sweet and gentle and never loses his temper. And he cooks and fixes things. And he always says the most encouraging words. And he’s a tech geek. And we can have hours long conversations about architecture, interior design, and how the wattage of monitoring speakers makes a difference. And he will never refuse hugs, kisses, and holding hands. And he dresses his cat in pretty clothes….. HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO BE F*CKING NORMAL?!?

Yes! And it’s the worst when it happens while at work. I was so annoyed yesterday after 2.0 mv dropped bc all I wanted to do was drown in everyone’s thirst edits here but instead, I had teams calls to be on and time sensitive emails that required immediate attention. And the only thing in my head was Joon in his glasses. 😠

Bestie scolded me today because she texted me yesterday, saw the typing bubble appear and then watched me disappear off the face of the earth. Her follow-up message this morning: “Now listen here, curly Bangtan gremlin. You started answering me and then vanished. So I can only assume one of your men posted something, dropped a teaser, breathed near a camera or Yoongi revealed 0.5% of a shoulder and you lost all cognitive function. But it has now been OVER 12 HOURS. Return to civilian life and answer me. Are we getting lunch or not?!” And the worst part is… she was absolutely right. 2.0 dropped and my ability to function as a person left the chat. 😬 Tell me this happens to you too. You open a text. You mean to answer. Then BTS drops something. And suddenly you are spiritually unavailable to society….

I walked from midtown all the way to canal street today and checked: 1. Rock and Soul record store - they have 8 albums (4 living legend ver.) 2. Kpop Nara - Have all versions, no single CDs but lots of cassettes and vinyls 3. Barnes and Noble Union Square - No stock, just the GQ magazines 4. Hello82 - They have cassettes but they’re closed until Friday so no chance of getting any until week 3 tracking One of my friends also checked Koryo Books in Ktown and they have some albums in stock. Hope that helps!

I just want non-Koreans to know that our earwax is dry (and not gooey) because of our ABCC11 gene TMI, I’m reminded of this every time I clean my kids’ ears. Their papa’s genes were more powerful than mine in that respect haha
