A native of Huntington, Long Island, he started out his high school career at the prestigious @CushingBBball in Ashburnham, Massachusetts & then later transferred to national powerhouse @LuHiBasketball in Brookville, Long Island, where he led them to the @NikeEYB Scholastic League championship game as a senior, while also winning the league’s Defensive Player of the Year & Sixth Man of the Year. It was also while playing for the Boston-based @ExpressionsBall on the @NikeEYB circuit that his recruitment shot up, as some of the best programs on the Division I scene were vying for his services. But in the end, he would choose @MarquetteMBB. This season, he had a very strong performance throughout his freshman year. Following his third game, he became a part of the starting lineup & remained there ever since. He averaged 16.4 points per game for the Golden Eagles & would end up winning the @BIGEASTMBB Freshman of the Year & making the conference’s All-Freshman team.
