 6-foot-6 wing adds scoring, versatility, and defensive impact to 2026 class Loyola Chicago continues to build momentum on the recruiting trail, securing a commitment from Jaxson Terry, a 6-foot-6 wing from CATS in Braintree, Massachusetts, and a standout with Expressions Elite on the AAU circuit. Terry becomes one of the centerpiece additions to Drew Valentine’s 2026 class, and his combination of size, skill, and versatility makes him a player with the potential to leave a lasting mark in the Atlantic 10. Offensive Skills 
Terry’s offensive game is highlighted by his perimeter shooting. With a confident release and the ability to stretch the floor, he forces defenses to stay honest. At 6’6”, his length gives him a natural advantage against smaller defenders, and his developing handle allows him to attack closeouts and create scoring opportunities. He’s not just a spot-up shooter — he can pull up off the dribble, finish through contact, and thrive as a cutter in a motion-heavy system. In Loyola’s style, which emphasizes pace, spacing, and unselfish play, Terry should have opportunities to score in multiple ways. He’s at his best running the floor and filling lanes in transition, complementing his perimeter game. With continued development, he projects as a three-level scorer capable of carrying stretches of offense while fitting seamlessly into a team-oriented attack. Defensive Versatility 
Defensively, Terry checks the boxes Loyola values most: toughness, versatility, and buy-in.
