Homeless people caused a fire on N First Street in Patterson, CA you can see them walking away. It rained ash for five minutes three fire trucks came #fire #bushfire

@Mirokuofnite Three generations of our family living in Patterson and we never heard of it especially hearing how common it is. My grandparents never heard of it and they have been here since the 50s. But now we know what it is and how to get it. Grandma first thought I had a stroke I said no

@Mirokuofnite This excavator hit the main 36 inch water pipe and no one knew that pipe was there. The fire department couldn't turn it off because they didn't know where the shut off valve was. The owner of that hill didn't know it was there and the company in charge of that site too

@NightStalker528 Yeah, the dirt in this valley is super contaminated. 100+ years of all sorts of pollution and poisons.

@Mirokuofnite Which is interesting since fungus prefers to live in cold, damp, moist areas with specific climate and temperatures but somehow this one prefers very dry dirt. I know I got sick at work since I go to construction sites, excavation sites, and getting loaded with excavators

@Mirokuofnite I didn't think the dirt would carry that. We sometimes haul dirt. VF lives in that dry dirt so I got infected. Was going to do this for a year for that consistent driving experience then go to Flying J to haul diesel. I have all those endorsements minis passenger and TWIC card

@NightStalker528 Yeah that will do it. All the crap in the dirt around here can give you some nasty infections.

@Mirokuofnite You will be doomed working in warehouse with this illness especially Amazon. Common symptoms are huge rash, fever, headaches, muscle aches, shortness of breath, chest pain, fatigue, and cough. I got the shortness of breath with chest pain (heart and left lung hurting)

@Mirokuofnite I never heard of this illness & Ive lived in the valley my entire life until I was diagnosed with it I thought it was really aggressive bronchitis. 2nd ER stated community pneumonia but hematologist diagnosed me with Valley Fever. VF cases has been increasing within last 2 years

@Mirokuofnite My aunt knows a coworker that got it took him 8 months until he started getting better but took him a year to get cured. When I was at a job site the Foreman knows a coworker that's been out since a year and hasn't heard from him. Its an illness that lasts for months not days

@Mirokuofnite Some heart and lung pain. Heart would act up or lung. Can't overdo my heart and lung so I can't work out. Can't laugh or it causes me pain or knocks the wind out of me. Sneezing, burping or coughing will hurt. Believe me it was much worse when I first woke up experiencing it.

@NightStalker528 I always thought valley fever was sort of a seasonal thing for some people. But I had heard of extreme cases, that really sucks you got a bad case. What symptoms do you have?
