Been having a debate at a LGS chat about people using “Forest” cards with Plains artwork. They’re technically legal, but feel misleading and can misrepresent the game state. What’s everyone’s take? fine at tournaments, or something that shouldn’t be legal?

This is pretty messed up. As pointed out by Donato Giancola on FB, it seems the new printing of The One Ring is just a flipped cutout of a previous borderless printing (artist credit: Marta Nael) with the runes removed, then plopped onto a Dan Frazier background. 😡

@L1NUS_DW @beer_and_mtg Wizards loves Merfolk. Thassa’s Oracle, Tatayova, Emry Lurker of the Loch, Merfolk Secretkeeper. All good cards that are best in other decks :P

@NikachuMTG @beer_and_mtg Wizards hates Merfolks! Whenever they make some and realize they turned out strong, they change them from Merfolk to Moonfolk. It’s bizarre!

@KeinJustus Yeah, maybe this can be for a combo deck or something. But not for a normal Merfolk deck.

@NikachuMTG Preparation is not sorcery speed right? Because than I can see potential in this card, but not for aggressive decks.
