Again, for those of us with kids at home, please be patient with them. In everything you do, always remember their age. Their brains are still developing, and they cannot handle too much information at once. Some of you bombard them with too much information and then spank them when they forget. Please stop it. They are not stupid. They are not dumb. They are not slow. They are just kids trying to learn how many things work. Some parents send their kids to do five different things, and when the child remembers the first and second things but forgets the rest, they begin to cry. Then, when they finally gather a little courage to come talk to you with tears streaming down their face, you beat them on top of that. Not cool. Here’s what you can do to help them: - Send them to do one thing at a time, or maybe two things at a time, depending on how old they are. You are their parent, you should know. - Ask them to repeat the instructions after you. For example: “Go and bring me a comb, a knife, and a bandage.” Then ask them to look at you and repeat: “Comb, knife, bandage.”, and if they come back with two things instead of three, try again, if it doesn't work, then that should tell you something. Give them time, and they will get there. I promise. Please don’t beat them. Instead of beating them… come and beat me. 🤲🏾🥹

@ree_rehanat Yes, it’s very painful. I stopped putting my daughter back after she cried so much on the second day. Thankfully, she didn’t need it afterwards.

That is exactly my point... Seeing that baby go through that in tears can be painful to the mother

@ree_rehanat It’s phototherapy to treat jaundice. It usually isn’t the mother’s fault, so there’s no need to feel guilty but concern cos it’s uncomfortable. Some babies cry through the process.

I saw the video of a baby under the blue light after birth with no cloth on and something covering the baby's eye .. it makes me wonder what will be going through the mother's mind ..... Would she feel guilty ??? Did she blame herself for it ??? Or did she feel normal

Happy New Week! “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5 NKJV Have a pleasant week ahead 🤍

All through last week, I showed up to my shop every single day, even when there were no sales. As a small business owner, you don’t get to stay home because things are slow. The bills won’t pause, and giving up is not an option. Sometimes it gets discouraging, but I keep going because I believe that one day, all the effort will be worth it. If you come across my page, please support my business. I sell quality kitchen and household items at affordable prices. Every purchase, referral, like, comment, and repost means more than you know. Thank you for supporting my small business. ❤️

@Nike_flames @Miemiedoo Everyone says this. But my experience hasn’t been good. I bought 4 beautiful low heels. Only 1 wasn’t all that wobbly and was manageable. The rest were exactly like the lady’s in the video. When people say “read reviews before buying”, I wonder what they mean exactly becos I did.

@Tobielobba I was quite consistent, only missed a couple days. I used Pregmom plus, which was just two tablets and I had to use it just once a day.

Why do babies cry and throw tantrums because they want to sleep? Can't they just close their eyes and sleep like everyone else? Nobody should tell me they slept like a baby again oo.

See what social media is portraying marriage as? See as bad example full everywhere. Marriage is God's design, and there are millions of God-ordained marriages out there; don’t let the noise blind you. It’s possible to marry a man or woman who does not cheat. Gracias.

When we view Marriage through the lens and design of Christ, again our first reaction won’t be who wins or who is loosing.

@ree_rehanat My baby’s bag is readily packed, all I need to add when going out is just the ice bag with milk in it and bottle, then we’re good to go. Once we get back, I remove things I need to and replace those I need to.

Getting baby ready, getting yourself ready and packing baby diaper bag. Sometimes it's enough to make you cancel all plans and just stay at home. Because I don't understand why staying at home looks like the best plan. Mums be honest how many times have you had to cancel plans or outings because of this . Good morning my sweet people.

I didn’t believe stories like this until a woman shared her experience during one of our antenatal classes. After she gave birth, a nurse inserted a sanitary pad inside her vagina but didn’t tell her. She went home completely unaware that anything had been left inside her. Two weeks later, her mother-in-law noticed a strong smell and pointed it out. She said she even argued with her mother-in-law because she was sure she had never had body odour before. Not long after, her husband started complaining about the smell too. That was when she returned to the hospital. On examination, they discovered the pad was still there. For two whole weeks. Things really happen in this life o.

I thought this thing of forgetting instruments in a patient during surgery was an exaggeration. Just saw that forceps was left in a lady during surgery in Lagos and she died. Also no sense of urgency.
