This is an absolutely perfect example of an academic trying to do the job of a designer. Also, I look at this and think of the electrical substation signs with the lighting bolt striking a person. Something like that would be way more effective than this!

I can’t think of a more stunning location in the world than Edinburgh’s Princes Street...yet it’s a sad eyesore. Is it naive to dream of cultural centres (like @japanhouseldn ) showcasing innovative design & tech mixed with restaurants & residential?
