Ultimately I am deciding what is best not just for myself but for my partner and if his parents cannot and will not accept me, I can’t be part of that. Love really fucking hurts and it sucks but my mental health is so beyond fucked right now. I’m hurting.

@NikkiExDee It's probably designed to be this difficult. A good rule of thumb is to ask your PCP to order the referral for the preferred provider, regardless if they take your insurance. You can sometimes petition insurance to accept new providers, and extra documentation always helps.

@AshZification I haven’t tried that, thank you 🖤 my pcp has also been referring me places but then those places say I have to go through my insurance, not my pcp and I’m just so confused 😕 This shouldn’t be this complicated.

My dental insurance was canceled because it wasn’t renewed right (I never got a prompt to reenroll in dental when I did my health) and now I was told I have to wait until the next enrollment period to get my dental back. I never got an email or a call. I hate it here.

@simplynvm I’ll be honest tho, swimming and hiking and all that seems worth ear and eye infections 😭 I hate being inside all day all the time

@NikkiExDee My ear and eye infections randomly stopped but I think it’s because I stopped playing outdoors. 🤣 I used to swim in any lake / river and climb whatever mountain I could as a kiddo.

How often do you guys get eye infections? Cause I swear I never see adults dealing with this yet HERE I AM.

@TINARAES I’ve always been pretty over the top when finding a pcp. I found mine by searching for the best doctor in the area (read all the reviews and their educational history) and I narrowed it down to my top 3. From there I called and booked a consult. You might have to shop around!

How do I find a primary doctor!? I've literally only been doing urgent care for the last 5 years LOL
