@Brett_A_Taylor Have to admit. So far PCA has stuck it to the Cardinals fans. Win or lose. I’m sure if he was a Cardinal the fans would love him. Everyone is fickle.

Stephen A. Smith publicly APOLOGIZES to Kyrie Irving after calling him "selfish" for refusing the COVID jab.
"Hindsight-wise, it didn’t make him stubborn or selfish. It made him BRAVE."
"I watched Dr. Fauci on Capitol Hill yesterday, and the person I thought about most was Kyrie Irving."
“Kyrie Irving stood out in my mind because of the heat that he was taking... He refused the vaccine. New York City's mandate made him ineligible for home games, and he linked his stance to people losing jobs over vaccine mandates."
“In my opinion, particularly hindsight-wise, it didn't make him stubborn or selfish. It made him brave. His willingness to stand up and say, ‘Nah, I'm not doing that.’
“It's just a time for reflection — to look at things differently.”
Kyrie gave up $11,400,000 in game checks during the 21-22 NBA season and a $100,000,000 extension with the Nets to be unvaccinated.
That cements his holdout as the largest financial sacrifice any athlete has ever made over an issue in history.

The pushback was enormous. Kyrie could’ve walked off into the sunset. He was probably set for life already. Imagine the millions who refused that could’ve lost everything. They are heroes too. In my own company there was so much pushback they asked us all to find Jesus. I had a group of customers that left for lunch and didn’t go back. When the search ensued their company mandate magically disappeared. I want hear those stories.

Brewers & Cardinals fans can definitely agree on one thing… PCA is one of the biggest douche bags in the MLB. 🍻

PCA's bat flip says it all 😮💨

@thescorechicago @DavidHaugh Who cares what it was. It was simulation level shit.

Dustin thinks Pete Crow-Armstrong 'poked the bear' with his home run celebration, fueling the Cardinals to walk-off the Cubs right after. But @DavidHaugh thinks that's nonsense.
"That wasn't baseball karma. That was something that happens when you have a closer you can't trust," says Haugh.

@baseballisdead_ Being an asshole is being an asshole… and the cubs ended up losing

Shaq says LeBron James is a modest but arrogant guy and he's putting the scoring record so far out of reach
Host :"Do you think this is it for LeBron or these last two years or has he got more?"
Shaq :"It's up to him...LeBron is a modest arrogant guy. He's loving the fact that he's the number one scorer in the league. But guess what? I'mma put this so far out of reach, nobody will ever do it"
"I ain't gonna lie when I was playing I looked at Kareem's number I was like man 36,000? I'll never get to that. LeBron's at 45,000. He's still averaging 20"
"So if I was him if I could play two more years and put all those records out of reach? I would."

@BBallGround He's already the goat. Nothing more needs to be done. He's just piling it on at this point.

@BBallGround Hes been over jordan but this would make the gap very large

@jackcoder0 I ship Pelican cases around the U.S. several times per month. AirTags have found my cases before UPS or FedEx did. Now FedEx requires their own trackers. I still keep the AirTags inside each case.

A woman put a $29 Apple AirTag in her checked luggage at JFK Airport.
The airline lost her bag. The customer service desk said: "We'll locate it and deliver it within 48 hours."
She opened Find My on her iPhone. The bag wasn't at the destination airport. It was at a cargo facility in a different state. Moving. Toward a residential address.
She showed the airline the live GPS location on her phone. They dispatched recovery. The bag with $3,200 in contents was returned 6 hours later.
Without the AirTag: she files a claim, waits 3-8 weeks, and receives $1,500-3,800 in airline liability (the maximum under federal regulation). Probably never sees the bag again.
With the AirTag: she tracked it in real time, forced the airline to act, and got everything back.
$29. One coin-sized device. The difference between losing $3,200 and losing nothing.
Apple has sold hundreds of millions of AirTags. Most owners use them for one thing: finding keys. That's a $29 global tracking network being used like a $5 keychain beeper.
Here are 11 AirTag uses and hidden features most owners have never tried 🧵

@ThrillaRilla369 I agree. But…. I ran some numbers years ago. If all executives were paid $0 for one year and their salaries spread equally amongst all worldwide employees, they would still be at poverty level. Not sure what it is now.

Among Original Six: Montreal leads consistently (~21k, near capacity). Detroit strong recently (~19k). Toronto ~18.8k. Rangers/Bruins ~17.8k.
Blackhawks often 21k+ in peaks (pre-rebuild, over capacity reported), dipped more to ~17-18k in rebuild years vs peers. Rebounded to ~18.5-19k recently with Bedard. Early 2025-26 ~17-18k. Strong legacy, but capacity & on-ice results matter.
